Wine & Soul Manoella Porto White 10 years 19,5 % Vol. Portugal Douro Portwein. 10 Jahre in Holzfass gereifter weisser Portwein von Jorge Borges und Sandra Tavares. Die Rebstöcke sind über 70 Jahre alt. Obwohl das Weingut noch recht jung ist, zählt es heute schon zur absoluten Spitze! Jorge, der frühere Önologe von Dirk Niepoort, gilt als Ausnahmetalent in der Weinszene. Für seine Frau Sandra Tavares de Silva gilt das gleiche. Von diesen Ports wird man in Zukunft noch viel hören und lesen!!!

It is a blend of White Ports sourced from old vineyards at high altitude with a field blend of Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega do Larinho andGouveio. The fermentation occurred in granite lagares with foot treading and after that was matured and aged in seasoned old casks of 630 liters for approximately 10 years at Quinta da Manoella Lodge.
Very beautiful color and attractive nose with almonds, orange and white fig. On the palate is rich, round and very fresh with amazing notes of dry fruits.
